This is from an Atlantic article published today, and I cannot be bothered to give the source here and give the author free publicity (it's behind a paywall anyway). On any other topic, if a journalist showed such blatant ignorance, they would be fired. But somehow I feel they know that they will be completely irrelevant soon, so they have resorted to scraping the bottom of the barrel for whatever they can salvage.
